Qualifications/Experience:

Level 2 or above.

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

  • To ensure that the safeguarding and welfare of all children at the Pre-School is paramount in the day to day running of the Pre-School and it is promoted and adhered to effectively.
  • To work under the direction of the Pre-School Management team.
  • To provide high standards of childcare, education and play opportunities.
  • To be proactive in sustaining a safe, inclusive, stimulating and educational environment for all the children.
  • To assist in the continuous improvement of Pre-School provision.
  • To support the children’s social, emotional and physical needs by ensuring the provision of opportunities for them to help reach their full potential.
  • To assist in the organisation of the environment inside and outside to ensure that resources and equipment are available and appropriate to meet the needs of the individual children.
  • To promote positive behaviour, independence, good personal hygiene and encourage children to interact and work co-operatively with each other.
  • To develop positive and sensitive relationships with parents and carers to support their role in children’s learning.
  • To provide accurate and constructive

  • To ensure ratios adhered to at all times and support the staffing of any hours the pre-school is open.
