Qualifications/Experience:

We are looking for a friendly, positive Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS practitioner to start as soon as possible. Applicants should believe in supporting children's confidence and know how to build good relationships so children are happy and secure. Applicants should be willing to work flexibly in a small team, working together to get the best for the children. Hours are currently 8-1pm Monday, Thursday, Friday and 11-4pm Tuesday and Wednesday. These are subject to change as the nursery grows, based on conversations with the practitioner and nursery manager. Pay is based on qualifications and experience, up to £13/hour.

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

• Support with set up and pack away of the nursery.
• Support with settling children and developing secure relationships so children feel happy and confident to come to nursery.
• Support to develop children in their key areas, using a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Taking observations of key children and using these to support with informing the environment set up and planned activities.
• Support children in their intimate care needs, including changing nappies where needed.
• Developing good relationships with parents / other key adults.
• Work flexibly across the environment, adapting to the children's needs and working with the nursery manager/teacher to deliver a range of adult guided / child lead play.
• Engage in professional development activities to ensure we are always delivering the best quality provision for our children.
