Qualifications/Experience:

Level 2 or 3 EYFS qualification preferred (pay dependant on qualifications, up to £13/hour)
Experience working with children for at least 2 years (in a nursery, school or childminder setting)
Experience and understanding of EYFS curriculum

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

Hours are at least 12 per week (39 weeks per year), with increased hours expected as the nursery grows.
Hours are allocated between 8am and 4pm daily, depending on need.
The successful candidate will be able to;
Build secure relationships with children so they feel safe and valued.
Track and monitor key worker children’s progress and using knowledge of them and the EYFS curriculum to plan environments and activities that build on their skills and knowledge.
Write observations to share learning with families.
Support with toileting, nappy changes, snack and meal times.
Help to set up and pack away furniture and resources each day.
Follow all policies and procedures of the nursery.
Work as a proactive member of a small team to deliver the best experience for the children in our care.
