Room Leader Level 3 - Ashridge Day Nursery - Amersham

Qualifications/Experience:

Level 3 or above.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Level 3 Room Leader to oversee and support the daily operations within our early
childhood education setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children and fostering their development. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of early years practitioners, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality childcare in
accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

Lead and supervise a team of early years practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained at all times.
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and guidance. Contribute to the organisation of daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to childcare provision.

 

Qualifications Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare
or Early Childhood Education.

 

Proven management or leadership experience within a nursery or childcare setting.
Extensive experience working directly with children across various age groups.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively whilst maintaining a positive working environment.
Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties related to the role.
