Business Planning and Childcare Sufficiency

Demand for different types of childcare varies across Buckinghamshire.  The staff, location, and premises are therefore of fundamental importance to sustain a quality provision. Business planning is essential to ensure a quality provision. Information about starting your own business and courses that you may find useful via the Government website.

A careful feasibility study will be required as, although you may feel there is a need for childcare in your local area, others may also be considering providing new childcare in that area.  We are also aware that a number of childminders currently have vacancies for flexible childcare. This may help you to decide on where you may wish to set up your business.
