Early Years Forum
Early Years Forum
The Buckinghamshire Early Years Forum brings together invited representatives from across the early years sector to help shape and influence strategic priorities for early education and childcare in Buckinghamshire. Membership is reviewed annually to ensure representation from a range of provision types and geographical areas across the county, including PVI managers and owners, childminders and Early Year Leads or headteachers.
The Forum provides an important opportunity for sector representatives and senior members of the Buckinghamshire Early Years team to:
- Review local early years data and identify priorities for improvement.
- Consider emerging national and local policy developments and their implications for the sector.
- Act as a consultative body on strategies, service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Discuss key issues affecting providers and children, helping to inform future planning and decision-making.
- Develop recommendations and feedback for Schools Forum and other strategic groups where appropriate.
Membership of the Early Years Forum is by invitation only. Membership is reviewed annually and seeks to include representatives who play an active role within the Buckinghamshire early years community, engage constructively with sector developments and networks, and are committed to representing the views and experiences of providers from across the county.
