The purpose of this grant is to support a provider through a temporary situation, which would result in a shortage of childcare provision in the longer term if external financial support were not available.

Sustainability Grants are awarded to support Buckinghamshire providers in situations where their business is impacted by events which could not have been predicted or planned for. Prior to these events providers would otherwise be operating a viable business.

Applications from providers whose sustainability has been impacted by the challenges posed in dealing with Covid-19 will be considered, where there is an imminent risk to the business, and where there would be a shortage of provision in the longer term if external financial support were not available. We reserve the right to consider other funding steams already accessed or available when assessing any application.
