Qualifications/Experience:

Experience of working with children in an EYFS education setting
Good basic education to GCSE level in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent if educated in other UK nations or overseas.
Experience as a paid worker in play schemes, crèches, after school clubs, nursery, pre-school or similar
Experience as an LSA in an educational setting in Key stage 1 or 2

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

We are looking for a Classroom Learning Support Assistant to join our EYFS team and to support the learning of all pupils including those with additional SEND needs. This will require excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible when needed. The role will be varied across the EYFS, Nursery, Pre-school and school and will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with general LSA duties
• Supporting teaching and learning through group and split teaching.
• Supporting 1:1 SEND pupils with their learning and medical needs.
• Supporting other SEND pupils with interventions.
• Other duties according to personal skills ie music, computing, first aid, social media, or nurture.
• Lunch and break time supervision
