Schools who deliver early years provision under Section 27 of the Education Act 2002, have to submit their claims termly in order to receive their funding for their Early Years children. This means that these schools will receive their funding via the Early Years Funding Team at Buckinghamshire Council instead of as budget adjustments via the Buckinghamshire Schools Finance Team. 

Provisional claim forms will be sent to S27 schools via AnyComms+ in accordance with the funding timetable, and final claims are to be submitted following the relevant terms count date. Payments will be made 6 times a year into your school budget or bank account (if a cheque book school) following the submission of the provisional and final claims for each term. Children should not be entered on to SIMS.
