Qualifications/Experience:

• Level 3 qualified
• At least 2 years of experience in management

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

• Support the day to day running of the nursery.
• Work along side the manager
• Stepping in as manager when the manager is unavailable
• To follow safer recruitment to hire new employees
• Able to develop strategies for new projects, set deadlines and create workflows
• Can delegate tasks effectively to team members and work effectively within a team
• As we are a small nursery, the deputy would be in the room supporting staff with practice and role modelling to children.
• Helps the manager to make important decisions related to administration, projects and management procedures
• Keeps records of financial and legal matters
• Can summarise team activities in order to keep senior managers informed
