Qualifications/Experience:

Leading a team in an Early Years setting (either as Manager or Deputy Manager).
Minimum qualification of Level 3 in Early Years.
A comprehensive understanding of the Foundation Stage to meet the needs of each child in the nursery and to make us an outstanding nursery.
And everything else involved in running a fantastic nursery!

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

Some time spent in the office doing admin, some time with the children (depending on staffing).
Working closely with staff to ensure they understand how best to meet the needs of the children using the Foundation Stage as our curriculum.
Oversee staff development and training and to ensure they have all the support they need.
Liaising with parents on a daily basis and ensuring that they have agency in the nursery.
Overseeing planning.
Staff training and development.
Liaising with parents, in person, and via other communications.
Liaising with Bucks Early Years department.
Liaising with the Director of the nursery (who works off site) on a regular basis.
Procurement of resources.
Funding headcounts to Bucks Early Years.

Please note that these are some, but not all, of the main responsibilities of the Nursery Manager.
