Qualifications/Experience:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Level 2 Early Years qualification.
Experience of working with children in an early years setting.
Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and child development.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, including KCSIE 2024 and Prevent Duty

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

Supporting learning & care
Work as part of the nursery team to deliver high-quality EYFS provision under the direction of the nursery leader.
Support the planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities for individuals and groups of children.
Act as a key person for a small group of children, developing close relationships with families and supporting children’s care, learning and development.
carry out accurate observations and contribute to assessment records in line with EYFS requirements.
Assist in preparing and maintaining safe, stimulating and purposeful indoor and outdoor environments.
Encourage children’s independence, social interaction, and positive behaviour, modelling courtesy and good manners.
