Applying to offer the Early Years Funding within Buckinghamshire

To be able to offer the Early Years Funded Entitlement for children aged 9 months – 4 years, providers must be registered with Ofsted, or with a Childminding Agency on the Early Years register, or a school on the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

In Buckinghamshire, we require providers to join our Funding Directory in order to claim from the Local Authority the Early Years Funded Entitlement.

We are only able to approve providers onto the Buckinghamshire Funding Directory once their registration is “Active” and Ofsted or the Childminding Agency have confirmed this to Buckinghamshire Council.

Providers are welcome to make enquiries by emailing earlyyears@buckinghamshire.gov.uk and start the application process prior to registration.

This flow chart shows the different stages of the directory application process.
