Early Years National Funding Formula (EYNFF)

The early years funding hourly rates from 1st April 2025 – 31st March 2026 are as follows:

3- & 4-year-olds 2025/26: £5.97 per hour.

Disadvantaged 2-year-olds (whose parents receive some additional government support) 2025/26: £8.64 per hour.

2-year-old eligible working parent 2025/26: £8.64 per hour.

9 month to 2 year working parent 2025/26 £11.86 per hour.

The average deprivation rate remains the same at £0.08 and applies to all the funding streams.

A Quality Supplement has been added to all funding streams from 1st April 2025.

3 & 4-year-olds £0.05 per hour.

2-year-old funding for families in receipt of certain benefits £0.02 per hour.

2-year-old funding for eligible working parents £0.01 per hour.

9 months to 2-year-old funding for eligible working parents £0.01 per hour.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) rate: £1.00 per hour.

Disability Access Fund (DAF) payment: £938 per year.
