AET LogoBuckinghamshire Council Early Years Service are delighted to have been awarded the Autism Education Trust Early Years Training licence, we are also the Regional Partner for the South East. The AET training is a modular training programme for practitioners and all those working in Early Years settings. In addition to the training and to support practitioners further the AET offers:

 

Training modules for Early Years include:

  • Making Sense of Autism - basic autism awareness training for all practitioners in all early years settings, whether or not they work directly with children with autism.
  • Good Autism Practice – designed to support all practitioners working directly with children on the autism spectrum to develop their practice.

If you are a Buckinghamshire Early Years setting and have a child who has autism attending your setting, we may be able to deliver the Making Sense of Autism to all practitioners at your setting as part of our support. To find out more about this please discuss with your Key Contact, a SEND Advisor or email earlyyearssend@buckingahsmire.gov.uk.
