• Are you a SENCO in an Early Years setting, or would you like to be?
• Would you like to learn more about the role of a SENCo, build your confidence in the role and increase your knowledge about how best to support children with SEND in your setting?
• Would you like opportunity to develop in your role as SENCO, to attend an annual SENCO networking event, work with other SENCos in the county; taking part in projects and sharing good practice with other SENCOs?
• This qualification will provide you with opportunities for all of the above.

Requirements for Level 3 Qualification for Early Years SENCOs in Buckinghamshire:

• Practitioners must have attended the 2 day Buckinghamshire SENCO training or an equivalent.
• Practitioners should have the confidence and ability to lead others and implement good practice in their settings.
• Practitioners must have an interest in SEND and be able to demonstrate this through webinars and training courses attended and additional reading/ websites accessed.
