L2/L3 Practitioner - The Ark nursery - High Wycombe

Qualifications/Experience:

Full and relevant Level 2, Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification recognised by the DfE
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
We are looking for passionate individuals who have a genuine interest in children, their wellbeing and development, and who are always open to seeking
knowledge and creating better outcomes for children
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training desirable
Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work proactively within a pack-away setting where daily set up and pack down forms part of the role
Availability to work Monday to Friday in line with
Buckinghamshire term dates and attend nursery INSET/training days

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

Support the day-to-day care, learning and development of children within the setting age 2-4years
Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
Carry out daily set up and pack away of the nursery environment and resources
Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the environment is organised, inviting and ready for children each day
Carry out observations and contribute towards planning in line with children’s interests and developmental needs
Support children with routines, personal care and promoting independence
Build positive relationships with parents and carers
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies at all times
Work as part of a team to maintain high standards across the nursery
Contribute to creating engaging activities and learning opportunities for children
