Early Years Forum

Early Years Forum is attended by Buckinghamshire Early Years Service and the Buckinghamshire Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, in addition to 50 members (agreed annually) that represent the sector and meet to discuss key issues each term. Members will be across PVI Managers/Owners, Committees, Childminders, Head Teachers and EYFS Governors across all geographic areas within Bucks.


The purpose of these meetings include –
- Preparing recommendations and reports for Schools Forum, receiving feedback from meetings.
- Discussion on key issues & regulation changes focusing on resolutions to improve outcomes/service delivery.
- Acting as a consultative body on the provision of support and improving quality and outcomes for children in the early years sector.
- Review Buckinghamshire’s EY data, setting key priorities and focus for improvement.
