Qualifications/Experience:

A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years
qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children in an early years
setting
Good knowledge of the EYFS and a genuine
passion for child-centred learning
A caring, patient and creative approach to
supporting every child as an individual
Strong communication skills and confidence in
building relationships with families and colleagues
A positive attitude, team spirit and enthusiasm for
outdoor learning

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

As a Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner,
you will:
Be a key person for a small group of children, supporting their emotional wellbeing, development and learning journey
Help plan, deliver and reflect on engaging, high quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS and Montessori approach
Encourage children’s independence, curiosity and confidence through meaningful play and hands-on activities
Support children in outdoor learning, helping them develop a love of nature and exploration
Contribute to our wider nursery community, including special activities and local visits
Observe, assess and record children’s progress to support their next steps in learning
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved
Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children
