Buckinghamshire Council’s Early Years Service is seeking expressions of interest from providers to deliver childcare and funded early years education for children from birth to 4 years, year-round, 8am–6pm, for children and families in Marsh and Micklefield Ward, High Wycombe.

Important: This opportunity is subject to the outcome of Ash Hill Primary School’s consultation, which is currently ongoing and closes on 4th June 2026. No decision has been made at this stage, and any subsequent steps (including interview dates) will be confirmed as necessary once the consultation outcome is known.

Interested parties should email a brief expression of interest, including a short paragraph outlining their vision for the provision to: earlyyears@buckinghamshire.gov.uk

Once received, an application pack will be sent to prospective candidates after the expression-of-interest closing date. Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted for stage two, where selected candidates will be invited to interview with Buckinghamshire Council.

The successful provider will have the opportunity to lease the premises, at an agreed rent, to deliver the service as set out in the site-specific specification (issued with the application pack).

Viewings can be arranged on the afternoon of Wednesday 20^th May 2026. Please let us know if you would like to book a timeslot; we are unable to accept walk-ins on the day.

Closing date for expressions of interest: Sunday 24^th May 2026.

Those shortlisted will be invited to submit a full application including a fully costed business plan. Closing date for applications will be 7^th June 2026. Interview dates will then be confirmed.
